Because PI&D is doing business through the Internet certain conditions are necessary to protect both our clients and P&ID.
Method of Payment for Patent
Drawings:
PI&D will provide our clients with a fixed price quote to complete the
patent drawings. You may contact us by email,
phone, FAX or by mail to receive a quote. Please go to our AGREEMENT page for details.
Prior to initiating the work to prepare drawings for your invention, PI&D
requires a retainer fee of 25% of PI&D’s fixed price quote, with the
balance of the payment made at the completion of the final patent drawings. At
the completion of the drawings, proof copies of the patent drawings together
with the INVOICE, will be FAXED or mailed to the client. Upon the approval of
the these drawings by the client, and the receipt of the final payment to
PI&D, the original and final patent drawings will be mailed to the client
by FedEx overnight.
Method of Payment for Producing
Prototype Models:
Because PI&D places purchase
orders with outside prototype shops or machine shops to produce models, the
full payment to fabricate the model must be made, to assure final payment to
the prototype shops. Before accepting the prototype model, PI&D will make a
full inspection of the part to assure compliance with the drawings before
payment to the shop is made.
PI&D insists that our clients be satisfied with the completed work, and all aspects of the Agreement have been thoroughly met and satisfied.
To offer reassurance to our clients, P&ID will be glad to provide a report on its current standing in this field of business, and will put prospective clients in contact with a widely accepted agency of excellent reputation which will verify the integrity of Patent Illustration and Design by telephone or FAX.
